The goal of Dear Mind is to stop mental illness in its tracks before it progresses from early warning signs into a crisis. Dear mind is not only an early intervention campaign, it also has a Dear Mind Program component. The Dear Mind Program is a specialty coordinated care treatment program for adolescents and young adults who may have recently begun experiencing or displaying certain early warning signs and/or mental health symptoms. Most often these symptoms are noticed by the people around an individual before the person recognizes them. Individuals who meet criteria for the program have a customized treatment team to meet their unique needs. Early detection and intervention dramatically improve the likelihood of having a positive response to treatment and achieving recovery. Remember you are not alone.
